The Aeroponics System
A clean system is a productive system. Every two weeks clean your in line filter with a bottle brush. This will prevent your misters from clogging. Between crops empty your reservoir then fill it with about 5 gallons of tap water and 1/4 cup household bleach. Plug your pump into an outlet without a timer and run it continuously for 20 minutes before pumping out the bleach mix. Then fill your reservoir for your next crop. Never allow your system to sit inactive with nutrient for more than a day. Don't worry about chlorine in your water, it will evaporate in a few hours with the pump active. If you don't set plants in all of the net pot sites place plastic cups in the vacant sites to prevent debris from entering the system.
